San Jose del Cabo was such a splendid trip. It has been about a month since getting back and I can imagine the warm ocean water, quiet beaches, margaritas, and countless tacos. I feel so grateful that I was able to spend 10 days to relax and enjoy the beautiful area.
We spent most of our time in San Jose del Cabo. Our Airbnb was situated in between town and the marina, so we would spend lots of time walking or taking the bus (both of which we didn’t mind). We both really enjoyed the beach by our Airbnb. The beach was extremely quiet and only a quick walk away. Often times we would be the only ones as far as the eye could see. The art walk on Thursday was also fun. There was live music in the streets, both locals and tourists enjoying the surroundings, and corn on the cob! All the stores would open up their galleries for all to see and it was fun to roam and browse.
- Corner store with amazing taquitos (beans, bell pepper, onions, and lots of other unknown delicious-ness)
- Jaimaica juice. SO GOOD, why is this not a thing in the US?!?!?
- Getting lost on the bus system. Eventually we figured it out but it seemed that my 4 years of spanish in high school didn’t do much.
- New Years fireworks on the beach in Cabo San Lucas
